Acceptance Criteria

All manuscripts are submitted to at least two external independent referees for rigorous peer review; this includes a statistical review where appropriate.

We have introduced a checklist system to ensure that all information pertinent to the trial is included in the study report. The checklist aims to improve uniformity within the journals, and will provide a useful guide for both authors and reviewers. The checklists are also contained within the Instructions for Authors.
