The .NET Framework is a component of the Windows operating system. For Pharmaprojects
(PJB Publicatioins), the .NET Framework makes it easy to rapidly create powerful
software that maximizes performance, scalability, reliability, security, and the
end-user experience.
Windows users need to install the .NET Framework to run the Pharmaprojects application.
Installing this release is a prerequisite for running applications (Pharmaprojects
V5 Web and CD) developed using the .NET Framework 1.1. For more information about
.NET Framework, see .NET Framework Home.
Note If you are downloading the .NET Framework 1.1 onto a machine in a language other
than English, and there is a corresponding .NET Framework language pack, it will
be downloaded automatically with this install. .NET Framework language packs contain
translated text, such as error messages, for languages other than English.
Additional Requirements for Running Server Applications
- One of the following operating systems:
- Windows 2000 (Professional, Server, Datacenter Server, or Advanced Server) with
the latest service pack
- Windows XP Professional
- Windows Server 2003 Family
- Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.6 (MDAC 2.7 SP1 recommended)
- Pentium 133 MHz processor with a minimum of 128 MB of memory (256 MB recommended)
