Meeting Reports |
 |
|
RAJ Devices welcomes submission of reports covering meetings and conferences.
Interested parties should contact the Editor in advance of the meeting to confirm
it is not already being covered, and to discuss length and content of the report.
It may be more appropriate, where there has been a particular new development,
to submit material as a news items in the Worldwide Update section of the journal,
rather than as a meeting report.
Content
Meeting reports must focus on delivering the news and substance of the meeting
to RAJ Devices readers; they essentially provide the critical data and 'take home'
messages that readers would have gained had they been at the meeting. This extends
to the often valuable insights and information that emerge in sessions addressing
questions from the floor. It is not important to cover all speakers, only those
who impart new information or views of interest.
As with all RAJ Devices articles, links should be made to referenced material
wherever possible to enable readers to follow up the information and have substantiated
grounds for putting it to working use.
Information such as sponsors, hosts, lists of speakers, opening and closing formalities
and agenda details are of limited value in a RAJ Devices meeting report and in
most cases can be readily found elsewhere.
Timing
Meeting reports should be submitted to RAJ Devices within two weeks following
the meeting to enable timely publication.
Conference proceedings
Organisers of meetings may arrange for RAJ Devices to prepare full proceedings
of a meeting or conference on a contract basis. | |

provision of references is essential. Sufficient detail must be provided for all
references such that the reader may readily locate them. This includes citing

ot the Internet.
Cite references in numerical order in the text and list them at the end of the

the article within the text.
