Meeting reports |
|
|
RAJ Pharma welcomes submission of reports covering meetings and conferences.
Interested parties should contact the Editor in advance of the meeting to confirm
it is not already being covered, and to discuss length and content of the report.
It may be more appropriate, where there has been a particular new development,
to submit material as a news item in the Worldwide Update section of the journal,
rather than as a meeting report.
Content
Meeting reports must focus on delivering the news and substance of the meeting
to RAJ Pharma readers; they essentially provide the critical data and 'take home'
messages that readers would have gained had they been at the meeting. This extends
to the often valuable insights and information that emerge in sessions addressing
questions from the floor. It is not important to cover all speakers, only those
who impart new information or views of interest.
As with all RAJ Pharma articles, links should be made to referenced material
wherever possible to enable readers to follow up the information and have substantiated
grounds for putting it to working use.
Information such as sponsors, hosts, lists of speakers, opening and closing formalities
and agenda details are of limited value in a RAJ Pharma meeting report and in
most cases can be readily found elsewhere.
Timing
Meeting reports should be submitted to RAJ Pharma within two weeks following
the meeting to enable timing publication.
Conference Proceedings
Organisers of meetings may arrange for RAJ Pharma to prepare full proceedings
of a meeting or conference on a contract basis.

Document Preparation |
|
|
In addition to the main text of the article, the paper should include a main
heading with the title of the article, author's full name, relevant degrees and
affiliations, i.e. job title, department, institution/company and city.
References and footnotes
RAJ Pharma is a reference journal used worldwide. Comprehensive and accurate
provision of references is essential. Sufficient detail must be provided for
all references such that the reader may readily locate them. This includes citing
full details for legislation and information sourced from other papers, books
or the Internet.
Cite references in numerical order in the text and list them at the end of the
paper in the order in which they first appear in the text.
RAJ Pharma does not use footnotes; include all material essential to understanding
the article within the text.
Style
Accepted articles will be edited into RAJ Pharma house style, with an opportunity
given to the author to review changes made to the final copy. A lack of response
to a request for comments on this final copy prior to the given deadline will
be taken as acceptance that the document is ready for publication.
